Our History
Healthy food comes from a healthy company

Soyummi Foods began with a mother and her lactose intolerant child.

The impetus to develop healthy great tasting lactose, dairy and gluten free products came when Joanne Hollander, the founder of Soyummi, discovered that her son was lactose intolerant and unable to tolerate milk-based products. A perennial experimenter in the kitchen, Joanne developed a delicious dairy-free pudding for her son to enjoy. With time Joanne developed additional flavours of puddings and new products, all lactose, dairy and gluten free, working on everything from cereals to pasta sauces.

In 2002 Joanne decided to create a business around her puddings and Soyummi Foods was born.
